With the Ã×ÀÖÌåÓý Driver App, drivers always have important information about their vehicle ready to hand. The digital assistant on your smartphone helps to simplify your everyday work on board trucks and buses over the long term. Our Ã×ÀÖÌåÓý Driver App supports drivers on every tour: smartly, conveniently and efficiently. It offers a wide range of functions designed to make life easier. For example, the App helps with pre-departure checks, compliance with driving and rest periods, and individual performance analysis.

The Ã×ÀÖÌåÓý Driver App also helps truck drivers to find points of interest such as petrol stations, parking spaces and Ã×ÀÖÌåÓý workshops. Drivers will soon also be able to quickly find charging stations suitable for e-trucks, for example Ã×ÀÖÌåÓý Charge&Go.

If the Ã×ÀÖÌåÓý SimplePay digital service has been booked via the , truck drivers can use the App not only to quickly find a parking space, but also to book and cancel existing bookings. What's more, truck drivers – even vehicles of other brands – can use the App to make contactless transactions for refuelling and parking 1) . This will also be possible for other potential scenarios in the future. The use of some functions requires registration on the and the booking of the corresponding digital services. You can find out the costs for these services on the Marketplace.

You can use the basic functions of the Ã×ÀÖÌåÓý Driver App without a RIO account. To do this, simply add your vehicle to the App using the VIN.

To use features that require you to book a digital service, you can sign up in just a few steps:

  • Create a RIO account when you first launch the App. If you have already used the App without a RIO account, you can find the button for this in the settings as well as on the home screen of the App.
  • To create your account, enter your vehicle's VIN number, the number of your driver card and your user name (email address or mobile phone number). You will then receive a confirmation link by e-mail or SMS. This link will take you back to the registration page, where you can choose your personal password and complete the registration by clicking on “send”.
  • Restart the App and log in with your user name and password. Done.

Important: Self-registration in the Ã×ÀÖÌåÓý Driver App is only possible under the following three conditions: 1.The vehicle associated with the VIN number entered is registered on the RIO platform. 2. Your driver card has been scanned at least once in a vehicle registered on the . 3. Your fleet management has activated the “Self-registration” option in the user management on the .
